This course is aimed at HR Practitioners, Reward Analysts, Job Evaluation Committee Members, Line Management and Shop Stewards
The ARGRS Paterson Job Evaluation is a practical two (2) day course. Delegates will not only learn the theory but will also be provided with the practical skills to successfully and consistently grade jobs / roles within their own oganisations in preparation for using the correctly targeted salary surveys and to progress towards developing a pay scale.
Delegates will also be provided with the knowledge and practical skills to use the various Paterson grading methodologies as well as how to develop customized grading matrices.
At the end of this course delegates will also understand:
- The principles or laws of Job Evaluation;
- The main differences between the common job evaluation systems used in Africa
- Understand the role of the job evaluation committee and who is responsible for authorizing job / role grades; and
Have the skills, knowledge and confidence to competently evaluate or grade jobs / roles using the Paterson system of job evaluation.
